Micheline was born in Belleterre, a small mining town in Quebec. As a child, she moved to Ontario with her family where she later worked as a teacher and translator for most of her professional life until retirement.

Largely self-taught, Michelineís art education is made up of information obtained from art books as well as painting workshops sheís been attending since 2009. Many of her paintings are large botanical close-ups but she also enjoys painting floral landscapes. Her work has been exhibited in Toronto galleries, libraries, and various other venues in Ontario.
